Sky Digital
Sky is a well established satellite television provider in the U.K. Sky offers many different packages, offering the most high definition content, along with recording facilities, as well as giving you the oppurtunity to use their telephone and broadband service. The complete Sky package is available to the majority of the UK as it's broadcast via satellite and the telephone and broadband are provided by BT.
Virgin Media
Virgin Media are the fresh new face of cable television in the UK. Virgin offer high definition content, a set-top box which offers recording abilities, as well as one of the most comprehensive interactive and on:demand services offering hundreds of hours of content. Virgin also give you the chance to sign up to their telephone and cable broadband service. Virgin Media is only available in certain locations of the UK, so check availability for their main deals before you sign-up.
